Congratulations and Welcome!

You have earned your Life rank and are beginning the process of earning your Eagle Rank.

By now, you should have arranged a meeting with your Life-to-Eagle coach for your troop to make sure you are getting a good start on the right path.  This is a complex process and missteps can cause delays and setbacks.  If you haven't met with your Life-to-Eagle coach yet, please do so now before continuing.  Your troop's Life-to-Eagle coach's contact information is in the column on the right.

Once you have met with your coach, this website is a good resource for confirming the right steps through this process, as well as a source for important documents you will need.

Keep in mind that if you have any questions (and I mean ANY questions), you should not hesitate to contact your scoutmaster or your Life-to-Eagle coach with those questions.

What you will find on this website (check the tabs above):
  • Scouts:  This is a general information page.  A good place to start.
  • Parents:  Parents, you have an important, albeit limited, role in this process.  Please review this tab so you better understand how to best support your son as he earns Eagle Rank.
  • Life to Eagle Steps:  This tab walks you though, in detail, the steps the District, Council and National office expect of you in order to complete the Eagle Rank.  Review carefully.  There are a lot of steps!
  • Documents:  Here you will find links to online documents and resources you will need.
  • Board of Review:  This is a brief rundown of guidelines for Board of Review, including what to wear, what to bring, and what type of questions you may face.
  • Court of Honor:  How you run your Court of Honor is up to you, but this tab provides some logistical information to help you get started.
Once again, congratulations on initiating this process.  Remember that while this is your path and you are responsible for how you earn your Eagle rank, you are not alone in this process.  You are surrounded by people who will answer questions and provide you with support and insight as you move along this path.

Ask questions.  Learn.  Don't be afraid to make mistakes.  That's all part of the process.
